WNY BREWERIES WIN MEDALS AT 2023 NYS CRAFT BEER COMPETITION

The Western New York region was well represented at this year’s CBC awards, which took place on Friday (March 24) at the Albany Capital Center as part of the New York State Brewers Conference. Six local breweries combined to win nine medals in 10 different categories. West Shore Brewing nabbed bronze in Strong Ales (Non-Belgian) for their Winter Warmer.

Come out this Saturday (06/18/22) and try a new Saturday of IPA releases. Dad Noises, Tri Hops, Earth Science Collab and fresh Green Flyer. We will be playing some “Yacht Rock” all day, plus Main Street Pizza garden (next door) will take care of all food needs. Dad’s enjoy $5 drafts all day. Four (4) really different IPAs are being offered. Dad Noises is a crushable American IPA, Tri Hops (Galaxy and Nelson with Citra), Green Flyer (big mosaic note in this) and Earth Science (soft, juicy, papaya like with Rakau and Strata).

We will have an eight (8) pack special for $25 where you get 2 of each.

Rails & Ales (Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum)

All Aboard for Rails & Ales! More than a dozen local craft breweries, including West Shore Brewing, will be serving on Saturday, May 21, from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Ride the train to visit all of the tasting stations! Choose the time of your first ride, and ride between the stations as often as you like! If you show up before your ticketed time, there’s still great craft beer for you to try while you wait. Discover great craft beverages in all styles, from mild to wild. Ticket purchase includes museum admission and free souvenir tasting glass. Refreshments available for purchase. Free soft drinks for Designated Drivers.

Clarence Hollow Day

Saturday (May 21) is Hollow Day presented by Clarence Hollow Association. There will be music up and down the hollow, with buses running between the locations. West Shore Brewing will have Guy McCrea from That Guy Mike playing in the taproom starting at 6pm, with a very limited edition pilot batch available.
Tangerine IPA – 6% galaxy, citra and centennial hops, conditioned on Tangerine peel.
